Chinese New Year


Chinese New Year. Sounds like a big day right? Well not so for me. I'm not
really getting excited for Chinese New Year but the holidays. Anyway, this year
Chinese New Year turns out to be fine and ok. Not too busy and not too bored
too. Well, I didn't went to any special place for vacation. Just visiting some
relatives houses and relatives coming to my house for a sort-of- reunion dinner,
steamboat. yummy?

Chinese New Year is the time when you kind of get the opportunity to meet
our relatives. You know, meet up and catch up. My relationship with my cousins,
well can be said as OK. When we were younger and smaller, we always meet up
and talk to each other. But as time goes by, we all grown up and have our own
social, then we meet up lesser and lesser. And so does our relationship.

I did not talk much meeting aunties and uncles. I just preferred to listen to
their conversation. Its quite interesting. They talked bout their life recently,
how the children are growing up (my cousins), whether are they gonna
continue study for a diploma or degree or to start work after high school,
or maybe about some more distant relatives, whether have they married or
have new-born children,or how bad the economic laz year that its getting
hard to survive in this bloody earth. Financial problem. Yeah.

Or you can get to hear the topic of someones wife or someones girlfriend/
boyfriend stuff. Whether have they changed their bf or gf or anyone has
new date! or father-son story. Complicated family bond story just like
those hokkien drama we always see inthe tv.

And of course, listening to all these topics= gossips from the relatives
( the adults) keeps me entertained. At the same time, reminds me of
how life is going too be in the future for me.......................its nt that bright.

It was hearing those things that avoided me from boredom. Well least
i found outthat, my cousins having their new gf or bf at quite young age.
And my aunt and uncle knew it and they just go with it. Interesting.
Well they never asked bout me anyway. Not that it matters.:)

Ya, some cousins are having baby...and many niece popping out from
nowhere with my knowledge . I'm becoming aunty...almoz too many times
..seing my niece grow reminds me hw old  I am getting year by year. Yup
we are getting older. Which reminds me that i am graduating soon. Very soon.

Introduction

This should be my erm.. ok i lost count.I deleted my previous blog which was I failed to update
for few months? Ok maybe a few years. Having a blog is like a commitment. You got to keep
updating it or else it would be a dead blog that then goes in to the rubbish dump or the button
"delete this blog"- which I always end up doing.


Anyway with this new blog at 2012, yes 2012, can't believe that. I hope this blog will not be
in the rubbish dump again. Let's hope this blog will not have the same fate as the previous.
I will make sure i keep updating this blog. Would like to share my opinion in certain thoughtful
stuff which i think interesting? Or maybe my lame life.
